Ever wonder "what NOT to wear?"

Ok, well I only have a few suggestions on what NOT to wear, but it would probably be more helpful to give you suggestions on what TO wear. Here's an idea for Spring/Summer:

The first thing I did to pull these looks together was to select a color scheme:

Then I started shopping for pieces within the color scheme. Don't be afraid to use different patterns or textures. Add in a cute headband or flirty hat- accessories are fun and help your personality shine through.

Happy shopping as you plan for your next session!

Favorites from the past...

This blog and I are still getting to know each other and while I'm certain there is a way to set up a gallery, I have yet to figure it out. So until then here are some of my favorite shots from sessions of the past (and yes, there are some of my kidos because there's no way that a list of favorites wouldn't include at least a few of the hundreds upon hundreds of shots I've taken of them!)

This is baby Grace when she was about 9 weeks old- and it remains one of my all time most favorite images. Her eyes are beyond gorgeous.

I love this candid, baby Grace was all smiles that day!

Isn't she absolutely precious!

Her little dimple is too cute!

This was a fun family from last fall- their boys were troopers even though their cheeks were sore after smiling for 2 hours!

This was a big group that wanted to recreate a photo that was taken when the grandchildren were small, and now they are all adults.

This is the first great grandchild- he was weary of me and my camera at first!

Here are 2 of my favorites of Stella's newborn shots:

Here are a few of my favorites from Stella's 3 month shots:

My 2 babies:

I love this one- it's actually Stella and my grandma's hands. 4 generations between them!

This is my youngest sister and Tyler at my grandparent's 55th wedding anniversary. We had an impromptu shoot on the patio at the restaurant where the party was at- the lighting was perfect and the setting was gorgeous so I couldn't help myself:

This is one of my all time favorite shots of Tyler- look at those crocked teeth! So glad I have those captured in film so we can remember:

I hope you enjoyed some of my favorites of the past. I'm so excited to get some new sneaks up here!

Have a happy and safe Memorial Day!
