My name is Melissa and photography is a passion I inherited from my grandmother. My grandmother was capturing milestones and memories in our family for as far back as I can remember. If you look through her dozens upon dozens of photo albums, you'll rarely find a photo of her because she was always manning the camera. If you look through my scrapbooks you'll find the same pattern! Being behind the camera puts me at ease and allows me to photograph you and your family to capture your own memories and milestones. I use natural light as often as possible and love to photograph in all settings. You are welcome to come to my home studio or we can find the perfect location.
I am married to Allen and we have 2 children (who you will see in my galleries because I photograph them all the time!) Tyler is 9 years old and Stella is 4 months old. It's an adventure at our house!
In addition to photography I love music (especially Dave Matthews!) and anything crafty. My husband tries to get me to love home improvement and yard work.
